Ways of Being

Ways of Being is a group occupational therapy session which uses interactive perceptual and experiential approaches to explore possibilities in how you move and relate to your surroundings. It’s designed to support emotional and physical resilience, a safe space to explore mindfulness and movement.

Each session is unique, with explorations designed by the occupational therapy practitioner based upon the people who attend. Each subsequent exploration within sessions is chosen using the collective results of the previous one, providing attention and support for individual preferences, comfort and goals.

A developmental occupational therapy group, Ways of Being is designed to support progression and self-development toward emotional and physical resilience. The focus of each session is more upon interaction than on the movement explorations themselves. Interactions occur between your mind, body, and spirit, between you and your physical surroundings, with others, your community, and the world at large.
