Integrative Lower Limb Strategies / June 2024

Together, we'll work to help you develop integrative lower limb strategies to support your clients and patients. We'll use a holistic approach to assessment and thinking, considering local and global restriction, effort and ease in human structure and function. We will learn myofascial, structural and movement integration approaches in this session.

We'll use an occupational therapy approach to offer intervention and support that fits the human(s) we are working with. We will learn through practical demonstration and partner exchanges, aiming to create ease, support and flow in movement and self-regulation. A variety of strategies will be tailored to match your style and needs, depending on your health profession and speciality.

My intention is to help you build confidence in assessment, strategizing and supporting your clients and patients experiencing difficulty with pain, function and occupational engagement.

Highlights of the session include

  • Holistic assessment and thinking strategies
  • Practical demonstrations and partner exchange
  • Integrative strategies to support lower limb function
  • Intervention and support to fit the human(s) we are working with

This session is open to all health professionals, and would likely be best suited to bodyworkers or those working in touch-based professions.
