Body Awareness

Body Awareness is a group occupational therapy session which explores individual potential and somatic knowledge. It focuses on your interoceptive abilities and is designed to help you find more choices in the way you move, supporting self-expression, ease of movement and emotional freedom.

While each session is conducted in a group environment, explorations are individual and designed by the occupational therapy practitioner based upon the people who attend. The session is designed as a safe space to foster self-development through your own mind-body knowledge.

Body Awareness is a developmental occupational therapy group, designed to support your individual potential in finding ease of movement, self-expression and emotional freedom. The focus of each session is more upon interaction than on the movement explorations themselves. Interactions occur between your mind, body, and spirit, between you and your physical surroundings, with others, your community, and the world at large.
